what could this thing be i see up in the sky? it's bright and yellow and i have to squint to see properly. my husband says it is called the sun... but i'm not so sure? it has been a while! as you have probably heard, there has been a great deal of rain here in atlanta. days and days of endless rain. it sort of puts your brain in a funk. you stop thinking as clearly. after it is over it is like emerging from a deep sleep... eyes blinking and unfocused. we were lucky to not have any real damage. a wet yard and basement but no real flooding. one tree fell in our yard, but thankfully it was a small one (because we do have some very large ones). it is currently in our garden though:(
so we are trying to get back to our normal routine after a few days of everything being canceled. i promise i have been sewing but it has been slow going. blame my foggy brain. here is my sunshiny flickr favorites for this week. sorry for the long break. i promise to be back soon.
